DecouplingA situation in which returns on two assets or asset classes that normally move together move separately. For example, oil and natural gas prices usually move together: when one goes up, so does the other, and vice versa. Likewise, stocks and corporate bonds usually behave the same way. Decoupling in both cases occurs when oil moves in one direction while natural gas moves in the opposite, or when stocks' and corporate bonds' returns diverge.References in periodicals archiveADMA is a natural endogenous eNOS inhibitor, which competes with L-arginine to reduce endothelial NO production and cause eNOS uncoupling [46,47].Uncoupling of Vascular Nitric Oxide Synthase Caused by Intermittent HypoxiaExperimental evidence has demonstrated that ROS generation, oxidative stress, and FFA accumulation in myocardium are involved in the molecular processes responsible for cardiomyocyte apoptosis and heart failure and that UCP2 and UCP3 are overexpressed in both obesity and metabolic syndrome to detoxify endogenous produced ROS by mild uncoupling of mitochondria and LCFA accumulation.Cell Death and Heart Failure in Obesity: Role of Uncoupling ProteinsCharacterization of the porcine uncoupling proteins 2 and 3 (UCP2 & UCP3) and their localization to chromosome 9 p by somatic cell hybrids.Gene expression and promoter methylation of porcine uncoupling protein 3 geneThe methods of environmental treatment and the required devices were different for the fatigue experiments with uncoupling and coupling of hot-wet environments and cyclic loads.Fatigue Performance of SFPSC under Hot-Wet Environments and Cyclic Bending LoadsTo evaluate the effect of mitochondrial uncoupling by FCCP, spermatozoa from 3 bovine epididymides (n = 3) were collected and diluted to a concentration of 100 million spermatozoa per mL in modified TALP.The Stimulated Glycolytic Pathway Is Able to Maintain ATP Levels and Kinetic Patterns of Bovine Epididymal Sperm Subjected to Mitochondrial UncouplingKeedeRoll[TM] 300 - A waterproof uncoupling mat designed to keep tiles isolated and prevent any transfer of cracks.
