AWOS-A transmits only the altimeter setting; AWOS-1 reports the altimeter setting, wind data, temperature, dew point, and density altitude. AWOS-2 reports are the same as AWOS-1 but also include visibility. AWOS-3 reports the same information as AWOS-2 along with cloud/ceiling data. |
