Don't say 'Thanks you' or 'Thanks you a lot.

2. 'thank' used as a verb

Thank is also a verb. If you thank someone, you show that you are grateful for something they have done or something they have given you.

She smiled at him, thanked him, and drove off.

You say that you thank someone for something.

I thanked Jenny for her time, patience and sense of humour.He thanked me for what I had done.

You can also thank someone for doing something.

He thanked the audience for coming.He thanked me for bringing the sandwiches.

Be Careful!
Don't use 'to'. Don't say, for example, 'He thanked me to bring the sandwiches'.
