Special Features:Park commemorates the historic Battle of Princeton, fought on January3, 1777, in which General George Washington won his first victoryagainst the British Regulars on the field. In addition to the battlefield, the park includes the ClarkeHouse Museum, a state historic site containing period furniture as wellas Revolutionary War exhibits, and the Ionic Colonnade designed byThomas U. Walter (architect of the US Capitol Building), a stone patiomarking the grave of 21 British and 15 American soldiers killed in thebattle.
