Taling
Taling
a river in eastern China. It is more than 460 km long and drains an area of about 30,000 sq km. It arises in the southern range of the Sungling Mountains and flows into Liaotung Gulf of the Yellow Sea. The water is at its highest level in the summer. During that period, the lower reaches of the river are accessible to navigation. The plain of the Taling River is very densely populated. The cities of Chaoyang and Ihsien are located along its course.
