talin

a PROTEIN found in eukaryotic cells, that binds to ACTIN, INTEGRINS and vinculin (which is itself an actin-binding protein) and provides a connection between actin MICROFILAMENTS of the CYTOSKELETON and the PLASMA MEMBRANE at contacts with the extracellular matrix.
