Talien, Bay of
a bay of the Yellow Sea located on the eastern coast of the Kuantung Peninsula. Length, 11 km; width at mouth, II km; maximum depth, 20 m. Tides occur twice a day and are 3 m high. In winter the bay is covered with a thin layer of ice. The major port of Talien is located on the Bay of Talien.
