Series 4

An exam one must pass to become a registered options principle, which authorizes one to regulate and supervise the options trading of the firm for which one works. The exam tests one's knowledge of options and options trading; specifically, it deals with equity options, debt options, index options, currencies, and strategy, among other things. One must already have a Series 7 license in order to be eligible for this exam. It is administered by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
