Prienai

a city and administrative center of Prienai Raion, Lithuanian SSR. Located on the left bank of the Nemunas (Neman) River, 32 km south of Kaunas. Prienai has a clothing factory, a milk plant, a turpentine plant, and a logging and timber distribution establishment.
