a machine for extracting the peanut plant from the soil and placing it in a windrow for subsequent picking by a picking and threshing machine. The peanut-harvesting machine is effectively used on light soils. During the movement of the machine along the row, the plants cut out by two blades are moved by a soil layer toward the center of the machine and onto a rod conveyor; the rod conveyor has an actively vibrating branch on which the roots and pods of the peanuts are separated from the soil and fall on the transverse conveyor, which places them in windrows. The peanut-harvesting machine works in conjunction with a moderate-powered tractor and digs up bushes simultaneously from two rows with a space of 70 cm between rows. The output of the machine is up to 0.9 hectares per hour. The windrow can be formed from shrubs dug from two, four, or six rows.
