UV-C

(meteorology) Ultraviolet radiation produced by the sun, ranging in wavelength from 200 to 280 nanometers, biologically, it is the most damaging of the sun's rays. Stratospheric ozone strongly absorbs it and, as a result, the solar spectrum at the earth's surface contains only the UV-A and UV-B radiation.
