Serebriansk

a city (since 1962) under oblast jurisdiction in Vostochnyi Kazakhstan Oblast, Kazakh SSR; situated on the right bank of the Irtysh. Serebriansk has a railroad station (Serebrianka) 91 km southeast of Ust’-Kamenogorsk. A clothing factory and a milk plant are located in the city. Nearby is the Bukhtarma Hydroelectric Power Plant.
