Volkov, Anatolii Andreevich

 

Born May 27 (June 9), 1909, in the village of Petriaevo, Moscow Province. Soviet literary scholar; doctor of philology (1947). Member of the CPSU since 1930.

Volkov graduated from Moscow University in 1931. His works are devoted, for the most part, to the development of Russian literature at the turn of the 20th century.
