Up to 9 ft tall. (3m) Most recognized by it’s round cluster of tiny whitish flowers, sometimes surrounded by bigger white (infertile) flowers. Leaves classic pointy oval shape with jaggy edges. Formerly marketed as “Gravel Root” because the root was claimed to aid in dissolving kidney stones, along with bladder and bronchial problems, stomach, heart, tumors. Some people simply chew bark for stomach issues. Diuretic anti-inflammatory. Be careful, it’s too strong for some people, could cause bloody diarrhea.
