Uralic Race

a race occupying an intermediate position between the Europeoid race and the Mongoloid race. Members of the Uralic race are characterized by straight dark hair, average development of the tertiary hair cover, moderate skin pigmentation, primarily brown eyes, a well-developed fold on the upper eyelid, a narrow, moderately prominent nose with a concave ridge, and occasionally a somewhat flat face. The Uralic race is found in Western Siberia: Khanty, Mansi, northern Altais, and several groups of Khakas.
