Pavlovka Reservoir

 

a reservoir formed by the dam of the Pavlovka Hydroelectric Power Plant on the Ufa River in Bashkir ASSR. The Pavlovka Reservoir was filled in the years 1959–61. It has an area of 120 sq km, a volume of 1.41 cu km, a length of 150 km, a maximum width of 2 km, and an average depth of 11.8 m. The water level fluctuates by 11.5 m. Created for power development, water transport, timber flotation, and water supply, the Pavlovka Reservoir regulates seasonal flow.
