Rozites Caperata

 

a mushroom of the family Agaricaceae. The cap, which measures 5–10 cm in diameter, is yellow, with a pink tint and a thin white film; the gills are dirty yellow. The stipe is smooth and has a wide tunicate ring. This mushroom is edible and grows most frequently in pine forests, in the summer and autumn. In the USSR the species is found in the European USSR, the Caucasus, Western and Eastern Siberia, and the Far East.
