Royster, Vermont C. Royster, Vermont C. (Connecticut)(1914– ) journalist; born in Raleigh, N.C. Joining the Wall Street Journal (1936), he served as an editorial writer and as the paper's editor (1958–71), after which he wrote a regular column. His commentary won Pulitzer Prizes in 1953 and 1984. |
