Patkhor Peak

 

a peak in the western Pamirs, in Tadzhik SSR. The highest point in the Rushan mountain range, Patkhor Peak is 6,080 m high. At the foot of its southern slope, in the upper course of the Patkhor River, is the complex Markovskii glacier, which consists of ten tributary glaciers, is 11 km long, and has an area of 38 sq km. The peak and glacier were discovered by the geologist S. F. Klunnikov.
