Tevdore
a Georgian painter who worked in the late 11th and early 12th centuries.
Tevdore decorated a number of churches in Upper Svaneti, including those of Iprari (1096), Kvirike and Ivlita (1112; according to new data, 1111), and Nakipari (1130). His works are characterized by emphasis on emotional expressiveness, linearity, and a palette built around various shades of grayish blue and brick red.
