unit growth Unit GrowthThe extra number of units of a product sold over a given period of time, compared to the number of units sold in a comparable past period of time. For example, if a company sold 8,000 units in January 2008 and later sold 10,000 units in January 2009, it experienced year-on-year unit growth of 2,000.
