[TA] a longitudinal prominence on the posterolateral surface of the medulla oblongata along the lateral border of the cuneate tubercle; it is the surface profile of the spinal tract of trigeminal nerve, continuous caudally with the posterolateral (dorsolateral) fasciculus (Lissauer tract).
