Rassokha

Rassokha

 

a river in the Yakut ASSR, a left tributary of the Iasachnaia of the Kolyma River basin. The Rassokha is 254 km long and drains an area of 8,820 sq km. It originates in the Ulakhan-Chistai Range from two sources—the Ulakhan-Nachini and the Kharaulakh. The middle course flows through the Garmychan and Arga-Tas ranges. The lower course meanders and separates into two branches. The Rassokha is fed by snow and rain. It freezes in October, and the ice breaks up in May.

(upper course, Nalim-Rassokha), a river in Kras-noiarsk Krai, RSFSR, a left tributary of the Popigai (Khatanga River basin). The Rassokha is 310 km long and drains an area of 13,500 sq km. It originates on the Anabar Plateau. Fed by snow and rain, the Rassokha freezes in late September, and the ice breaks up in June.
