money paid for conveyance of a passenger, - usually for carrying passengers by water.

PASSAGE MONEY, contracts. The sum claimable for the conveyance of a person with or without luggage on the water.
2. The difference between freight and passage money is this, that the former is claimable for the carriage of goods, and the latter for the carriage of the person.
