Tetere

a river in Irkutsk Oblast and Krasnoiarsk Krai, RSFSR; a right tributary of the Podkamennaia Tunguska in the Enisei River basin. The Tetere is 486 km long and drains an area of 13,700 sq km. Its course through the Central Tunguska Plateau is marked by many rapids. The river is fed primarily by snow; it freezes in October, and the ice breaks up in May. The Dzhelindukon, which feeds the river from the right, is the Tetere’s largest tributary.
