Pasaeli

Paşaeli

 

(or Çatalca), a peninsula in European Turkey, bounded by the Black Sea, the Sea of Marmara, and the Bosporus. Paşaeli is the easternmost projection of the Balkan Peninsula. It is a hilly plain, and the spurs of İstranca extend onto the northwestern part of the peninsula. The vegetation is Mediterranean. The greater part of Istanbul is located in the southeastern part of Paşaeli.
