A condition primarily affecting office workers characterised by a semicircular zone of atrophy of the subcutaneous fat, while the overlying skin and underlying muscle remain intact. It is most commonly located on the anterior thigh, with the ribs or dents averaging 2 to 4 cm, typically located 72 cm above the floor—which corresponds to the standard height of office furniture.Aetiology
