PPM Star Catalog PPM Star Catalog A catalog prepared by S. Roeser, U. Bastian, et al, at the Astronomisches Rechen-Institut, Heidelberg, giving the positions, magnitudes, spectral types, and proper motions of 378 910 stars down to a limiting magnitude of 12 for the epoch 2000.0. The PPM (Positions and Proper Motions) Star Catalog covers the whole sky in two volumes: one on the north (1991) and one on the south (1993). It is available in computerized form. |
