SLUDGE syndrome

s(alivation, ) l(acrimation, ) u(rination, ) d(efecation, other gastrointestinal symptoms, and) e(mesis) (a toxicity resulting from drugs or poisons that increase the activity of the parasympathetic nervous system, specifically its cholinergic effects). A prominent cause of SLUDGE syndrome is poisoning by organophosphate pesticides, e.g., malathion.
