Two positions of variable incidence wing. One is for normal cruise and the other for combat maneuvering. Camber changes on the leading and trailing edges are made mechanically which results in changes in rigging angle of incidence.A wing with a variable-rigging angle of incidence that is controlled by the pilot. Such a wing permits increases in angles of attack without a corresponding nose-high attitude, thus improving visibility on takeoff and landing.
