 [ro-mah´no ward´] prolongation of the interval" >Q–T interval with syncope, sometimes with fibrillation" >ventricular fibrillation and sudden death; it is inherited as an autosomal dominant trait and can be triggered by stress or exercise. See also long QT syndrome.
