Tusch

a musical composition similar to a fanfare, performed as a ceremonial greeting during various celebrations, toasts, or pres entations of awards. A Tusch usually consists of a single musical line or phrase in 2/4 or 4/4 time played in a brisk tempo. It is usu ally performed by brass instruments.
