Location:8 miles north of Bottineau, off Highway 43.
Facilities:Strawberry Lake: Primitive and equestrian campsites, drinking water,swimming beach, boat launch. Hahn's Bay: Primitive campsites, drinkingwater, fishing pier, boat launch to Lake Metigoshe, picnic shelters.Twisted Oaks: Picnic tables, vault toilets. All 3 locations provide trailhead access to an extensive trail system.
Activities:Camping (primitive only), fishing, swimming, boating (electric motorsonly on Strawberry Lake), hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding,snowmobiling, cross-country skiing.
Special Features:Forest extends from the foothills of the Turtle Mountains to theCanadian border and is the largest contiguous block of forested land inthe state. Within its boundaries are Strawberry Lake Recreation Area,Hahn's Bay Recreation Area, and Twisted Oaks, a day use area.
