Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuester syndrome A congenital defect characterized by impaired differentiation of Müllerian duct; the uterus is rudimentary and cordlike; the deep vagina is absent and the outer part is shallow; fallopian tubes may be defective; there may be other sporadic congenital anomalies; ovaries are normal and induce normal femininizing puberty, except for lack of menstruation due to defective uterus; individuals are phenotypically and psychosexually ♀Budd-Chi·a·ri syn·drome
