Rogers-Gallagher, Kim

Kim Rogers-Gallagher has been in the business of astrology for the past 20 years. Her columns have appeared monthly for over 15 years, in Dell Horoscope, Welcome to Planet Earth, The Mountain Astrologer, American Astrology, and on the Internet. She was the author of a daily love horoscope called PassionScopes for AstroNet (on America Online) for five years. She is also responsible for the “Cosmic Cafe,” a creative weekly column published for StarIQ.com and astrocom.com that resembles an astrological soap opera, which was said to demographically attract an 80–90 percent female audience.

Rogers-Gallagher has also published two books. Astrology for the Light Side of the Brain, released in 1995, is now in its fifth printing at ACS (Astro-Communications of San Diego), and is the top-selling book in the company’s 25-year history. Her second book, Astrology for the Light Side of the Future, holds the second-place slot. She has also written chapters in several anthologies for both ACS and Llewellyn Publications. She is the author of the introductory text for Llewellyn’s Astrology Calendar, writes the weekly horoscopes for the publisher’s Daily Planetary Guide, and has been an annual contributor to its Sun-sign and Moon-sign annuals for the past seven years.

Rogers-Gallagher has been a director on the board of the International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR) for eight years. She served as editor for ISAR’s quarterly magazine for over four years. She also served as founder and board member for three local groups, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire; Seattle, Washington; and Telluride, Colorado.
