Rogaŝka Slatina

 

a balneologic health resort, mainly for the drinking of mineral water, in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, in the Socialist Republic of Slovenia, 45 km east of the city of Celje. The climate is moderately humid, and the average annual temperature is 7.8°C. Mineral water from springs is used therapeutically; these springs have been known since the period of Roman Empire. The water is used for drinking treatments, baths, and irrigations; it is also bottled. Those suffering from diseases of the digestive organs and urinary tract and from metabolic disturbances, for example, from obesity or gout, are treated.
