Tornado Alley
Tornado Alley A popular term for a multistate-wide region of the American plains (midwestern US) highly susceptible to tornadoes, which includes Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota and parts of States adjacent thereto. The term is not sanctioned by the US National Weather Service, given that tornados on the US tend to occur further east than Tornado Alley’s co-ordinates. |
