Tactical Exercise, Limited

Tactical Exercise, Limited

one of the means of training military personnel to perform various procedures and actions needed to fulfill tactical missions; also, a means of developing primary teamwork in small units. Limited tactical exercises are conducted with units of all arms of troops and special forces to the battalion level inclusively, with or without materiel. In the course of the exercise, the procedures and actions for each training objective are practiced separately in sequence and are then carried out in combination. Limited tactical exercises are usually set in a fairly simple tactical situation. The enemy is designated by controlled targets, mock-ups, and individual soldiers with simulated devices.
