Rock Streams

accumulations of detrital rock that move slowly along the ravines of mountain slopes, primarily by gravity. They are most characteristic of areas with severe continental climates. Rock streams begin from rock placers that cover flat mountain peaks. They sometimes stretch for several kilometers along the floors of valleys and depressions.
