Special Features:Pioneer travelers on the Oregon Trail crossed the Snake River at thissite, one of the most famous river crossings on the historic trail.The Glenns Ferry community sponsors a crossing reenactment the second Saturday of each August. Visitors to the park can learn about pioneer emigrants and Native American historyat the park's Oregon Trail History and Education Center.
