(pos-tēr'ē-ŏr em'brē-ō-tok'son) A developmental abnormality marked by a prominent white anterior limiting ring and iris strands that partially obscure the chamber angle.

embryotoxon, posterior

A condition in which a thickened and anteriorly displaced Schwalbe's line is visible on external examination. The condition is inherited as an autosomal dominant trait. See gonioscopy; anterior limiting ring of Schwalbe; Alagille syndrome; Rieger's syndrome.
