Utah Arts Festival

Late JuneThe Utah Arts Festival was founded in 1977 in Salt Lake City and is now a five-day event held on stages and in the streets, plazas, and galleries. Hundreds of booths are set up for regional foods and for exhibits of sculpture, painting, pottery, folk arts, and photography. In a Children's Art Yard, stories are told of Utah's mining days and natural history. Live performances of contemporary, jazz, bluegrass, folk, and salsa music as well as dance, theater, symphony, and opera performances are presented on three stages.
