(Radio Engineering). (1) A monthly scientific and technical journal of the A. S. Popov Scientific and Technical Society for Radio Engineering, Electronics, and Communications. Published in Moscow since 1946. It deals with the history and trends in the development of radio engineering and with theoretical and practical problems in the areas of radio-wave propagation, radio signals, circuits, antennas, and other electrodynamic systems, electronic devices, transmitting and receiving equipment, and equipment for data-recording. Other areas covered include techniques of radio-engineering measurements, problems in design and production technology in the manufacture of radio and electronic apparatus, and terminology. Circulation, 21,000(1974).
