Stylommatophora[sti‚lam·ə′täf·ə·rə] (invertebrate zoology) A large order of the molluscan subclass Pulmonata characterized by having two pairs of retractile tentacles with eyes located on the tips of the large tentacles. Stylommatophora an order of terrestrial gastropods of the subclass Pulmonata. The eyes are situated at the tips of the second pair of tentacles. |
