Uluguru

a massif in East Africa, in Tanzania. The range is an isolated, crystalline horst that rises above the seaside lowland on the east and the graben of the Wami River on the west. The maximum elevation is 2,653 m. The eastern slopes have tropical rain forests, and on the western slopes there are sparse, dry tropical forests of deciduous species.
