Radiometeorograph
Radiometeorograph a device for conducting meteorological observations in the free atmosphere. A radiometeoro-graph consists of a radiosonde and a radio receiver on the ground. The receiver is equipped with a recorder that automatically records the signals of the radiosonde on a paper chart. In addition to recording meteorological data (temperature, humidity, and air pressure), a radiometeorograph also records angles of elevation and azimuths of the radiosonde in flight. These data are taken at fixed time intervals in order to determine the position of the radiosonde. |
