Position error due to incorrect static pressure being fed either due to eddies or addition of dynamic pressure into static line.An error in pressure instruments caused by the difference between the actual static pressure and that obtained from the aircraft. It depends upon the location of the static port pickup points and the attitude of the aircraft. Also called pressure error or installation error.
