Location:Kidder County, in south-central North Dakota.
Activities:Hunting.
Special Features:Refuge contains five semi-permanent lakes and marshes, plus 15 pothole areas, totalling over 900 acres.
Habitats: 3,000 acres of gently rolling prairie dotted by numerous lakes and marshes with 975 acres of wetland.
Access: Open year round.
Wild life: Canada geese, snow geese, ring-necked pheasant, sharp-tailed grouse, gray partridge, coyotes, and red fox.
