Location:South of Amarillo in the Texas Panhandle.
Facilities:Campsites with water and electricity hookups, tent camping, showers, restrooms, primitive campsites, cabins, picnic areas, multi-use trails, horse rentals, interpretive center, visitor center, amphitheater, park store, restaurant, playground.
Activities:Camping, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, guided tours, interpretive programs.
Special Features:Canyon is approximately 120 miles long, 20 miles wide, and 800 feet deep and was formed primarily by water erosion from the Prairie Dog Town Fork of the Red River.
