Neurology A condition caused by a lesion of the rostral brainstem, characterized by confusion, hallucinations–peduncular hallucinosis, prominent pupillary abnormalities, ptosis, and disorder ocular movements; the TotBS may be accompanied by somnolence, and inattention, due to infarction of the rostral mesencephalic reticular formation
